G5 Entertainment’s Revenue from Hidden Object Games Exceeds $100M for the First Time

G5 Entertainment, a pioneer in the development and publishing of free-to-play hidden object games for mobile devices, is proud to announce that it has surpassed $100M in aggregate revenue from hidden object games for the first time in its history.

The company behind hit games like Hidden City®, The Secret Society® and Mahjong Journey®, G5 Entertainment is known for its focus on a rather atypical audience of mobile game consumers - adult females. According to the company’s data, in some of its hidden object and adventure games, women comprise up to 90% of the audience, and 90% of them are over the age of 35. What’s more, in some of its games, the core paying audience is females over the age of 55.

"G5 has been focusing on the needs of the underserved female audience with great success," said G5 Entertainment CEO Vlad Suglobov. "Although these players don’t consider themselves 'gamers,' they are a loyal audience willing to pay for games that suit their taste, which generally means games with little or no focus on violence and more emphasis on adventure, puzzles and storyline. Over 80% of our revenue comes from North America and the EU, where the demographic trends show that G5’s core audience will continue to expand and gain purchasing power in the years to come."
